Our 6th Year of Marriage Anniversary Poem! By Amalia E. Zents to James H. Zents

Just let me tell you my darling how much I truly care,
Even if Heaven and Earth are already well aware,
I think they know together we make a perfect pair;
And it doesn't bother me, when we go out, if people stop and stare!

I think of you no matter what, no matter when, or where;
Whether I'm in bed, or walking the dogs, or in the dentist's chair.
Whether near or far you are, I always see you there;
No matter if you're covered up, or in your underwear!

I wonder if our passion, to the world I should declare;
Should I proclaim my love for you or else not even dare?
I love to walk with you, o'er beaches broad, and bare,
I love your smile, your laugh, your kiss, and your gray-brown hair.

Should anyone want to harm you they had really better beware
Defending your trust and wonderful heart, stands Justice strong and fair,
You make my life worth living, and make me dance on air.
There is no one else on earth I know to whom you can compare.

I hope I never do anything that might our romance impair
Why confine this conscience of mine to be thrust in a dragon's lair?
A priceless thing is pleasant, the roof off we can tear
Our joyful hearts gave us this gift, a love we both can share!!
